Dualshock 3 controllers not supported on the PS4.

Despite Sony showing the PS Move controller being used with the PlayStation 4 during the console's unveiling event earlier this week, Sony says that the new console will not support the use of the standard DualShock 3 controllers.

"No, the PlayStation 4 doesn't support DualShock 3 but it does support PS Move," Shuhei Yoshida to said to sources.

It is unknown as to why DualShock 3 controllers will not be compatible with the PS4 as of yet.

Yoshida added, "That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work."

The new DualShock 4 controller was revealed during this week's PlayStation press conference, confirming features like a 'Share' button, a two-point capacitive touchpad, an internal speaker, headphone jack, and a lightbar for Move controller-like functionality.

I've played both and I definitely find 360 was a better gaming experience.


PS3 is just, idk. Weird i guess you can say.


Yeah, I think people go towards it because of the free online.


Yeah, if you had to pay like the 360, no one would buy the ps3.


People would still buy it, but more would head towards the 360, seeing as PS3 would also has decent servers too.

It's not that weird, controllers should definitely be replaced when a new console comes out. It's normal.

Move is newer so that's why it will be allowed on the PS4.


It's lame though, what about custom controllers...

The Move is a new concept, the controller has been around since the start of the console
