Dualshock 3 controllers not supported on the PS4.

4.6
Despite Sony showing the PS Move controller being used with the PlayStation 4 during the console's unveiling event earlier this week, Sony says that the new console will not support the use of the standard DualShock 3 controllers.

"No, the PlayStation 4 doesn't support DualShock 3 but it does support PS Move," Shuhei Yoshida to said to sources.

It is unknown as to why DualShock 3 controllers will not be compatible with the PS4 as of yet.

Yoshida added, "That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work."

The new DualShock 4 controller was revealed during this week's PlayStation press conference, confirming features like a 'Share' button, a two-point capacitive touchpad, an internal speaker, headphone jack, and a lightbar for Move controller-like functionality.

Hall I'm honestly not surprised, old controllers, old news.

That's what I thought.

This was expected, especially with all the new features on the new one.

They should find a way to extend the battery life on dualshock 4.

Reduction Why not just get a new controller for a new game?

What about people who have/use controllers like Scufs, it'll be interest to see what they do to the new controllers.
