Sony exec: Gran Turismo 6 'on PS3 this year'

It is known that Polyphony has been working on Gran Turismo 6 since 2011, meaning many expected the game to come out quite a long time after it had been announced. Now it turns out that the game may come out this year, and this time it is on the PS3.

This is according to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Senior Vice President Michael Denny, speaking with sources: "Look at the games coming out on PlayStation 3 this year, like The Last of Us, like Beyond, GT6...."

Sony confirms that Gran Turismo 6 is in development and has been since 2010, but offers no additional comment about a release this year.

I'm not sure because the previous GT games were Playstation exclusives.


I put my point across wrong, it will most likely be for both PS3 and 4.

Gran Tourismo has successfully develop hype in the past.

Look at GT 5, massive hype and a massive let down (in my opinion anyway).

Lets hope they get this one right though.
