Crysis 3 remains on top of UK Charts for second week

Crysis 3 claims the title of the first 2013 release to hold the #1 spot in the UK Charts. Despite a 43 percent decrease in sales this week, Crytek's sci-fi shooter remains on top. Last week's runner-up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance drops to #3 on the charts after a 60 percent decrease in sales. FIFA 13 took the place of Metal Gear Rising and moved into the #2 slot.

There are no major new releases due out soon, so the charts look pretty steady leading into next week. Aliens: Colonial Marines and Dead Space 3 suffered slight dips to remain in the top ten fro three and four weeks respectively.

Top 10 UK Software Sales (All Formats); week ending March 2:

1. Crysis 3
2. FIFA 13
3. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
4. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
5. Far Cry 3
6. Need for Speed Most Wanted
7. Aliens: Colonial Marines

10. Hitman Absolution

Everybody already has it, so it's sales are going to be a little lower than usual.


You're right, most call of duty sales are made within the few following days after release.
