Crysis 3 remains on top of UK Charts for second week

4.7
Crysis 3 claims the title of the first 2013 release to hold the #1 spot in the UK Charts. Despite a 43 percent decrease in sales this week, Crytek's sci-fi shooter remains on top. Last week's runner-up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance drops to #3 on the charts after a 60 percent decrease in sales. FIFA 13 took the place of Metal Gear Rising and moved into the #2 slot.

There are no major new releases due out soon, so the charts look pretty steady leading into next week. Aliens: Colonial Marines and Dead Space 3 suffered slight dips to remain in the top ten fro three and four weeks respectively.

Top 10 UK Software Sales (All Formats); week ending March 2:

1. Crysis 3
2. FIFA 13
3. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
4. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
5. Far Cry 3
6. Need for Speed Most Wanted
7. Aliens: Colonial Marines
8. Dead Space 3
9. Assassin's Creed 3
10. Hitman Absolution

Compliance Looks like it will be at/near the top of the charts for a while.

It's looking that way!

Nope, it already moved down and Tomb Raider took the spot!

SOG My bet would be, Crysis 3 is up there due to it's early release, new games like that tend to do such a thing, as for #3 on the games list, I've never heard of MGR, which is a massive surprise.

I bet it'll go down in a few months after the overall "ZOMG NEW GAME" vibe goes down.
It's always the new games that get played a lot, but sooner or later they'll see that the game gets boring and stop playing it.

Exactly my point, I was very hyped for BO2, pre-ordered the care package, *8 weeks later* So terribly bored of the game. It's very common.

I preordered the hardened edition, and haven't played it in months ;_;

Yea, I got that version too. Was not worth it.

Well, for zombies, it was kinda worth it. 'cept when they released nuketown to the public. No point in wasting my money.

They released it to the public? When? I only bought the hardened edition for Nuketown zombies and now anyone can get it?

They still have to buy it I'm pretty sure, but yes, they do.

They have to buy the season pass, but still, I spent extra money for something someone got too for less.

nope, Tomb Raider took control of the top!

For now. I just hope Black Ops 2 goes down to dead last, but it will never happen.
