Tomb Raider studio confirms work on new movie

According to Variety the masterminds behind the recently launched Tomb Raider reboot are working closely with filmmakers tasked with creating a film reboot. They are very optimistic that they will be able to work with this IP to create a very authentic and down to earth protagonist. Their hopes is to create a new story arc the blends effortlessly with the newly released games, they plan to accomplish this by working closely with Crystal Dynamics during production.

Zyphr Movie? Mhh, seems interesting.

There is already multiple movies on Tomb Raider. They are just pretty old, and started getting bad.

If they make this, it should be interesting to see how it competes with the Portal movie that's in making... But I bet a Tomb Raider movie would come out good.
