Microsoft to discontinue the Gold Family Pack

Microsoft has confirmed to Joystiq that they have discontinued the popular Gold family pack. What this means for current Family gold pack customers is that their family center settings management suite is still available for them... at this time.

When asked why this bundle which for just $99.99 gave the user four year long gold subscriptions they responded the following:

"We continually evaluate our business focus and work to offer services that make the most sense for our customers and Xbox."

The family pack was quite useless. Not many have families of 4 who all play xbox.

SuperTechMods This is why I stopped playing xbox because you have to pay to play online but Ps3 you don't that's why I switched.


So? $60 isn't expensive.
