Battlefield 3 update released as End Game DLC comes to Xbox 360

The patch itself is confirmed to be 1.92 GB, it contains "improvements to the multiplayer portions of the game" as stated by its listing information. The listing also goes on to add the following "We strongly advise you download it.".

To accompany this patch is the final DLC for Battlefield 3, Endgame. It features four new maps and some brand new vehicles. It gives players the opportunity to play two game modes, Air Superiority and Capture the Flag.

Before I got SSDs to replace the HDDs in my computer, it was indeed a pain to install but since the SSDs, it really doesn't take a lot of time anymore. But yeah, if you're gonna install BF3 ( with premium ) now on a normal HDD, you're gonna have a bad time :)


Downloading the Update will take more time than installing it, A standard 7200 RPM HDD wont take very long at all to install this so I'm not sure why you think it will be a bad time

True, its a huge update.


Battlefield updates are always huge, which is good because of all the stuff they include in one simple update.


It's because of the huge maps and detail they include in them.

Yeah pretty much every BF update is that big.

Aslo this sounds like a really nice last DLC for the game!


idk why, I mean yeah every update is amazing but they don't have to take up so much space lol.


Yea, 2 gigs is quite large...


Well I don't know if you have seen their maps but they are quite large. The main reason these are so big is because BF3 is set more for PC players where memory is not much of a problem.


I prefer the game on pc anyway :)

Amendment Uhhh! Its taking years to download.


Mine took about 15 hours to download! XD

I played Air Superiority and it was pretty crazy.
