Japanese Media Create reporting a gain in hardware sales for the week of 3/4/2013 – 3/10/2013. The following is a compiled list of Japanese hardware sales from Media Create for the preceding two weeks.

Vita – 63,581
3DS LL – 39,801
3DS – 21,207
PS3 – 19,567
PSP – 18,023
Wii U – 9,454
Wii – 1,363
Xbox 360 – 738

For comparison’s sake, here are the hardware numbers from last week:

Vita – 62,543
3DS LL – 50,265
3DS – 27,174
PS3 – 25,725
PSP – 11,171
Wii U – 10,021
Wii – 1,383
Xbox 360 – 486

if this was taken in japan, of course the xbox (Which is american) is at the bottom.

The main reason why Xbox is at the bottom is probably because most people have an Xbox that want's one. That's what I think.

The only ones that went up were Xbox 360, PSP, and the Vita. They aren't going up that much... I think there was more of a decrease in the week if you took out the 360, PSP, and Vita. Leaving 6 games in a decrease of sales. huh

Origamo I'm quite surprised that the PS Vita is on top.


I'm kinda shocked that that the Xbox 360 is on the very bottom. I would assume it to be at least in the middle somewhere. I guess Japan isn't a big fan on Microsoft products.

Yes it is, but I'm just surprised on how low the sales are seeing how popular the Xbox 360 is.
