Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Retail Disc Version Coming in April

It looks like Microsoft and Mojang are about to take their relationship with one another to a whole new level. A physical level. Today it was revealed over at PlayXBLA that a physical copy of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will be released to stores on April 30th.

The game will contain all of the same features that the digital version includes as well as all further updates. The title will be sold for $19.99, the same price as the digital version (but taxed now) and will be available in other regions outside of the US sometime early in June.

The retail game will be exactly the same as the digital version in every way, including support for multiplayer connectivity between the retail game and the digital download.

911 I Dont think it was a very good idea , when they first released it on xbox it would have been a GREAT idea but why now?Not alot of people even play it anymore on xbox .


Kind of true, but its good for the people that do, like that play ooffline.

I would imagine it simply to be the main image which represents MC. Steve holding the pickaxe and walking forward.
