Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Retail Disc Version Coming in April

4.3
It looks like Microsoft and Mojang are about to take their relationship with one another to a whole new level. A physical level. Today it was revealed over at PlayXBLA that a physical copy of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will be released to stores on April 30th.

The game will contain all of the same features that the digital version includes as well as all further updates. The title will be sold for $19.99, the same price as the digital version (but taxed now) and will be available in other regions outside of the US sometime early in June.

The retail game will be exactly the same as the digital version in every way, including support for multiplayer connectivity between the retail game and the digital download.

Not sure why people wouldn't rather buy it on XBLA then buy a disc. It's quicker, and you can't break a disc. Also the same price.

I suppose not everyone has XBL.

That's pretty cool I guess. Will it still be considered an XBLA game?

Not really actually people would love this

Dunno why they would even bother doing this, people that enjoy the game either already have it on the PC or Xbox, so practically no point in making a disc version...

Twist-Version-7 I also hope the worlds are bigger on the Disked game, in my opinion there to small right now:/

That's because the 360's Hardware is limited
