Bandai Namco Has "More Plans" For Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

4.2
Bandai Namco has confirmed that it has "more plans" for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which seemingly means that we'll be getting more expansions and DLC in the future.

Although Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's latest piece of DLC, which focused on the oft-overlooked End of Z saga, was never explicitly said to be the final expansion for the game, many assumed that it was thanks to the section of DBZ it focused on, its position as the last bit of DLC in the second season pass, and because of the thank you message that appeared at the end of the game.

It seems that we didn't learn any lessons from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 claiming it had released its last bit of DLC (which was then followed up with several years worth of content), as Bandai Namco has confirmed that there's more in store for the game. Over on the official Dragon Ball Games Twitter account, a new trailer for the End of Z DLC was shared, which showed off the incredible fight between Goku and Vegeta.

Beyond pulling the curtain back over what many thought would be Kakarot's final big moment, the tweet also gave Bandai Namco the chance to hint at more DLC coming in the future. After the tweet was shared, it said, "We have more plans for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Please wait for further information".

This doesn't come as too much of a surprise considering how long we've been getting expansions for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but it is a little shocking since the End of Z DLC looked like the best way to cap things off. It's also not clear what could be coming in the game's future, but considering we've seen nothing from GT and only a little bit of content from Super, there are a lot of possibilities for what could be added.

That being said, it's also not explicitly stated that what's being planned for the game is more DLC or expansions. It could just end up being some smaller updates or the addition of game modes (like the Card Warriors mode that was previously added) instead of new chapters like we're all expecting. Either way, it's clear that Kakarot isn't going anywhere soon.
