Take-Two taking action against Grand Theft Auto scammers

4.4
Following its successful efforts last month to remove offending sites such as getgtavbeta.com and betagtav.com, Take-Two currently has two more disputes in the offing.

The sites claim to offer early access beta keys to users who spread the scam via social media. In the case of gta5betacode.com , the user is asked to download files. The other site, grandtheftauto5beta.com , is currently offline.

The two complaints are filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization, and if Take-Two's previous successes are any indication, the offending sites will be removed soon.

Activez- Can't believe people still fall for this kind of stuff. If the company doesn't say anything about a beta why would there be one on some random site?

They think hackers get the game or something lol

That is incredibly stupid if someone thought that.

People these days....
