It's a pretty odd time to be an Xbox fan right now, uncertain about your platform's future due to Microsoft's willingness to stick its best exclusives on rival platforms. However, it appears to be a strategy that is actually paying off, as the company currently has more Xbox games on the PlayStation Store than PlayStation itself.

First noticed by gaming news outlet TweakTown, there are several Xbox published titles currently sitting comfortably on the list of PlayStation's top 25 best-selling games so far this month, with the likes of Grounded and Sea of Thieves proving to be fairly popular titles on the platform, despite the latter still awaiting launch.

Call of Duty, Overwatch 2, and Minecraft are also in there, two ever-popular titles that are now Xbox titles thanks to Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, while the resurgence of the Fallout series thanks to the recently released TV show has sent both Fallout 4 and 76 onto the top sellers list now too. We knew from the game's Steam numbers that players were flocking back to the titles, and it seems the same is true for consoles.

That's seven titles on PlayStation's best sellers list for Xbox, while the platform holder itself has only managed to get five on there. Helldivers 2 has been an unexpected hit for PlayStation this year, and is unsurprisingly sitting high on the list, while exclusive titles such as Stellar Blade and the recently released Rise of the Ronin have just about squeaked on.

MLB The Show 24 and Destiny 2 are the two remaining PlayStation published titles, which really show you how much of a barren spell the platform is undergoing at the moment. Of course, this is nothing to actually be concerned about if you're a PlayStation fan, as Xbox wouldn't even have the advantage if the Fallout TV show hadn't been released recently, but the platform will be hoping that the upcoming launch of Stellar Blade holds fans over.
