Battlefield 4 confirmed to launch this fall

Battlefield 4 was officially announced this evening, coming in the fall to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game runs on Frostbite 3. It's been a weird road since Battlefield 4's unceremonious reveal in July 2012, where it was part of a pre-order bonus for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Two EA military franchises enter, one survives a year later.

Pre-orders from any retailer receive the Premium expansion pack, while Origin pre-orders get the Digital Deluxe version that includes the game, the Premium expansion, access to the multiplayer beta and some bonus in-game items. Check out the first official in-game footage above.

I'm with you, I expected nothing from this game. That's exactly what it is, just an expensive DLC to a game that they ruined.

There is no reason to get it over a PC or the PS4

I can.t wait for BF4. To start off with BF3 was hard to get used to. Its hard to switch from CoD to BF. I managed to finally get used to it and now I can't wait for BF4.
