As is the case for most fighting games, one of the biggest questions surrounding Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is about its roster and what DBZ and DBS characters might be included in it. In fact, it's an even bigger focus of Sparking Zero considering it seems to have a roster made up of around 164 characters, a new record for a Dragon Ball Z game.
We've slowly but surely been seeing more of this roster over the past few months, but everyone's been wondering how far into the show it would go. Would we get forms like Mastered Ultra Instinct for Goku and Beast mode for Gohan, or would they end up being DLC like in Xenoverse and FighterZ? Well, a leak from just a few days ago at least gave us some hope for MUI.
As we reported on Friday, Sparking Zero's SteamDB icon was briefly changed to show Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku firing off a Kamehameha, suggesting he was definitely going to be in the game. That leak seemed to be unintentional and perhaps meant for an announcement at Summer Game Fest, but it was strong evidence for the character's inclusion and a show of how along the game is.
It seems that Bandai Namco has realised that a mistake was made, however, as the icon has quickly been changed back to a more generic symbol that represents the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament. This was spotted by Twitter user DBSparkingZERo, who showed a screenshot of the icon's updated look on the page.
I headed over to SteamDB to check for myself and the icon really has been changed back to what was there before, which suggests that Bandai is aware that the change was spotted and has reversed it. Even still, the fact it was changed at all does still add a lot of evidence for MUI Goku being in the game and it seems likely we'll find out more in just a few weeks at Summer Game Fest.
The Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO steam page has removed the Ultra Instinct icon that was recently added.

I wouldn't worry about it. Ultra Instinct being in this game should be a given.
Let's hope it's not DLC... pic.twitter.com/I4NJgVYJG0
