Minecraft XBLA update causes issues, bug fixes coming

4J Studios is working to address a number of Minecraft Xbox 360 issues being reported since title update 9 went live yesterday.

The Minecraft title update introduced 'The End', featuring new Enderdragon behavior, climbable vines, fresh music and crafting options, among other features, but it hasn't gone smoothly for everyone.
Some Xbox Live Silver members are having issues loading saves, while other players have reported lag and lighting issues.

4J Studios has said in a series of tweets: "Getting reports of issues loading saves for Silver LIVE profiles in TU9. Seems disconnecting from LIVE resolves this.

"If you get "Connection to the server was lost" and are a LIVE Silver user, try disconnecting the ethernet cable. We are fixing this bug.

"We're also looking into the reported lag some people are experiencing in The End.

"We are aware of some lighting issues in TU9 and are investigating these."

The XBLA version of the game hit six million sales in late March and will receive a US retail release this month.

Meanwhile, the PC version of the game reached ten million sales this week.

Yeah there was an issue when you would dig a block underground it would get completely black and when you placed a torch on the black spot the room wouldn't light up

I need to get into minecraft more so that I am aware of these things. That seems like a rather big problem, I wonder what changed between updates that caused this to happen.

Slytherin When this update came out and when I started to play it I relised that when you were mining every block you mined it would turn extremely dark and it would light up even it you placed a torch down. Now that glitch is fixed but it was really annoying for the first week of it being released. Also I don't see how Microsoft didn't notices these glitches when they were cert testing, I mean they were very easy to point out..


this still happens when im building stuff in creative

im really glad they fixed that. it was super annoying.

That was very annoying i did not like that at all

Bimmer I have not found any bug or anything wrong with the game.


I've found a few like the blocks going dark after you dig.

YOLO Guys, not being funny, but the way mojang are updating the game, no wonder its causing bugs/problems


Yeah you know, at least they're trying their hardest to then fix all the bugs they make..


They always take so long though.

PGA I hope that the bug fixes come soon. MC is really buggy after the update.


I know i don't think its ever been this buggy before.
