We have some more exciting Black Ops 2 Mob of the Dead zombie news to share with you now, and you won’t want to miss these details. The new map as part of the Uprising DLC pack isn’t due to go live until April 16, but we already have information on the Blundergat wonder weapon, including some early gameplay taken from the Call of Duty Championships.

The new wonder weapon has been confirmed as the Blundergat and it is a cross between a pump shotgun and a gatling gun. Unlike the sliquifier that was featured in Die Rise, we can also confirm that the Blundergat is able to be upgraded, although the upgraded name hasn’t been revealed yet.

What you’ll see in the video above though, is that the upgraded Blundergat has the ability to shoot packs of acid at zombies, which stick to the enemy and explode in a nasty mess a few seconds later. It looks absolutely fantastic and it could be even better than the jet gun.

The Blundergat is another weapon that has to be built as well, so you’ll need to require certain parts first before being able to use it. Other early information we can bring you, is confirmation of new two traps at least – an acid trap and a fan trap. One of the new wall items is going to be a flaming tomahawk/combat axe and whispers also indicate that a pack-a-punched AK47 will produce a weapon called the ‘Reznov’s Revenge’.
