LEGO Horizon Adventures Features Local and Online Co-op, No Crossplay

4.7
If the announcement trailer didn’t give it away, LEGO Horizon Adventures is a not-so-serious adaption of the Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn. It not only doesn’t adapt the entire open world, clocking in about seven to eight hours, but also features co-op for up to two players. Local co-op is a given, but the official PlayStation page confirms online support as well.

Of course, you can play the game solo if desired, but despite launching on PC and Nintendo Switch alongside PS5, it won’t feature crossplay, per YouTuber JorRaptor on Twitter. Though Varl is the only confirmed character right now, the latter noted that there may be two other playable characters. They’ve yet to be revealed, but there are seemingly no differences in play style (at least, for now).

LEGO Horizon Adventures is out this Holiday. While it’s a LEGO game in terms of humor, even pushing some of the darker themes of Zero Dawn into the background, it’s more of an action-adventure than a brawler. Guerrilla narrative director James Windeler even likened it to a playable LEGO movie with Horizon characters. Stay tuned for more details leading up to its launch.
