Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition for retail delayed until June 4

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will not make its originally announced April 30 launch, with Microsoft announcing today that the retail version has been delayed until June 4. Microsoft's Major Nelson notes the delay is to "include the very latest content."

We've reached out to Microsoft if this will impact the June launch in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan. We'll update if we hear back.

Its sad that they are delaying so many games, hopefully they don't continue this.

Mortar It is a bit of a shame that it is being delayed, it appears that more and more games are getting delayed recently. Hopefully the game will not have any issues once released.

I don't understand why they delay these games, most of the time there are still bugs anyway.

Fuz I hate mc on xbox.

Why on earth would you hate this game on the Xbox? The controls are easier and it makes it better to play and a bigger screen.
