The First Descendant PS5 FSR 3 Modes Outperform Xbox Series X Version

3.8
The pixel wizards at Digital Foundry have put The First Descendant‘s FSR 3 modes under the microscope for its latest video, revealing the PS5 version outperforms the Xbox Series X edition of the game in this respect.

AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation is a software based technique that allows supported titles to add additional frames into the existing render, resulting in a visually smoother experience though this is sometimes at the expense of latency and overall responsiveness.

DF did a direct comparison between the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of The First Descendant, with both Frame Gun and Fidelity Mode active, which revealed that “PS5 has the lead in every test.” Furthermore, it adds that the “PS5 reading is often 10 frames per second higher, and sometimes beyond that.”

The First Descendant launched for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on July 2, 2024. The game has already been a pretty major success for Nexon Games, having pulled in 10 million players in its first week alone, and a new update released this week has introduced a number key feature including increasing the module storage limit.

Runts More and more stupid crap lol how about be a real man and get a pc ?? Rather that argue about crappy console that can't keep up anyways no matter what

consoles have more players and games dont die out in a day to week,
plus consoles dont need to be upgraded every 3rd year,
a console is plug and play you dont get alot of issues,
where as on pc its a headache figuring out whats making your cpu hit 100% and why isnt the games running smoothly why am i hitting 35fps on a 4080 amd/intel newest cpus and 8gigs of ram(which now its 16gigs but since windows eats up half of that youre left with 8gigs)

consoles you just set down forget about it and be able to play every new game without spending thousands to play the next big thing that barely even works on any platform.

moral is who cares what someone plays on,
as a pc elitist myself, if you use a controller on pc then pc isnt for you
controllers are made for consoles, mouse and keyboard are made for pcs.
