Order Pizza Hut from Xbox 360

Xbox 360 owners now have the option to download the Pizza Hut app for their console and place an order directly from the comfort of their couch, cozy recliner or beanbag chair. As Polygon reports, there's no need to search for a phone anymore, as the chain's full menu (pizza, pasta, breadsticks, agita) is available from the app. Shame or pride after ordering can be shared across Facebook.

"We're always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they're interested in," Xbox's Larry Hryb told Polygon. "If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn't? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognized brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand."

Don't go thinking Microsoft is some pioneer in this space. In 2005, World of Warcraft let you order chinese food from Pandaren Xpress... no, wait, that was a joke. However, EverQuest 2 players could order a pie by simply typing /pizza.

I Just orderd a pizza it took 45min to get here fast 4 a xbox service lol

This is one of those inventions/ideas where they're completely unnecessary but can be so helpful and life-saving at the randomest times. I like the idea, lol but it encourages laziness. I would actually want to try it though, just to try it. It seems fun. :P I could see this become the beginning of more things like this but with different places.

Dude honestly who cares if you have been able to do that like 2-4 years ago. Not everyone wants to pay like at least $400 to have a decent gaming PC or just a computer to surf the web. I don't mean to sound like I'm butt hurt about the whole thing but its always annoying to hear the PC fanboys talk how much better the PC is than gaming consoles.

Yea but this won't really increase the amount of pizza people buy. They can call just as easy if they want pizza.

DAFUQ? How is this remotely practical for gamers? If they're on the go and in the middle of gaming especially, even calling would be less intrusive. It would make sense for people having a movie night of sorts or having friends over. How would this fit in with gamers? Wouldn't an app on your phone be better?
