However, in the time since then, fans have taken it upon themselves to review bomb the original Modern Warfare Remastered on Steam. At first, the title was at "Mostly Negative" reviews, however, it's now been pushed to "Overwhelmingly Negative" as more and more gamers make their voices heard on the game's Steam page.
"I wasted $20 because i was hoping that I could get to play H2M mod since activision doesn't want to make a functional multiplayer to a remaster of one of their best-selling games in the franchise. Just for me to get robbed," one user wrote as part of their review. That sentiment is spread out across dozens of reviews.
It's important to note that the reason why Modern Warfare Remastered is being targeted specifically is that it was a requirement for the H2M mod to work. More so, its developers actively encouraged interested fans to purchase the game to access it.
