Square Enix has finally announced a release date for Final Fantasy 16’s PC version, with a free demo now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Alongside the pricing, the action RPG’s system requirements have also been revealed via Steam.

All configurations will require Windows 10/11 64-bit, DirectX 12, and 170 GB of available installation space. A solid-state drive is also mandatory. At the very minimum, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-8400, 16 GB RAM, and either a Radeon RX 5700, an Intel Arc A580 or an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070. This will deliver 720p/30 FPS gameplay.

Recommended requirements include a Ryzen 7 5700X or Core i7-10700, 16 GB of RAM, and a Radeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 2080 for 1080p/60 FPS. Requirements for 4K have yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned for further details.

Final Fantasy 16 is available on September 17th for PC, with the Standard Edition costing $49.99. Meanwhile, the Complete Edition with both expansions costs $69.99 and includes Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide.
