Sony To Hold PlayStation Event On May 7th In Brazil

Microsoft are set to unveil details of their Next-Gen Xbox next month, with their own special event that will take place on the 21st of May. As many of you will already know, Sony has already held their first “teaser” event for the PlayStation 4 where they demonstrate their vision and dreams for the future of the PlayStation brand and their own next-gen hardware, but there were obviously a few glaring omissions from the show, the hardware, the price and the release date and while some consumers were annoyed not to get these details, Sony knew exactly what they were doing and chose not to play all their cards at once.

Now it seems that prior to the Microsoft event we could be treated to a 2nd Sony event, also just weeks before E3 2013! The event is said to take place on May 7th and invitations have been sent to press and media that they should be in São Paulo, Brazil on May 7th at 17:30 where Sony will once again be speaking “about the future of PlayStation in Brazil.”

The rumour mill can grind on this one all day long but could Microsoft be shown up once again by Sony, who seem to have a much better crafted battleplan for this generations console release than we could have ever expected? Could we see the hardware at this new show, the release date or even the price? It’s very likely and since Sony have stated they plan to launch this year, they have to give consumers a date to save up for.

Because they knew that what sony lacked in theirs, microsoft could do it properly, looking more professional and well executed. The not-yet revealed xbox has had so many teasers that all together, it just seems better than the PS4. We dont even know the proper name of microsofts new console. ummmm, no. The rumors about the 720 SUCK, and microsoft in my eyes are going to fail. Sony does it for the customers, and microsoft does it to beat sony.


you apparently forgot one crucial word you just said, RUMORS. nothing is true unless said by either microsoft and or sony. personally i'm not happy with either using the amd chips sony revealed and ms is rumored to use, i much rather have a more powerful multithread quad core.

Every single rumor that has been about the next xbox has been terrible. Always on, no used games, price increase in games. Which sony has responded saying the ps4 will have none of that. They are thinkin about the consumer.
Only xbox fanboys think ms is winning this next gen console race so far and being closed minded that the ps4 will be inferior to the next xbox. I bet there going to be really close in specs and price. I think most people firget that sony has been doing this for a bit longer then ms. They have had higher quality standards and free live. Tell me the failer rate of xboxes manufactured before 2008, and even later. Now get the ps3s failure rate. I know lots of people with there original ps3. But everyone has had to buy a new xbox or send it in for repairs.

Im not a playstation fanboy. Before all these announcements and rumors. I would have gotten a xbox before playstation any day.


Who care sabout free live. XBL has 3x the amount of members than PSN


Thank You. All of my friends always say ps3 is better because its free. But XBL has alot more and always has offers like "$2 for 2 months" and psn plus is just one payment no offers.
