Microsoft snags domains for 'Xbox Fusion'

Microsoft has registered numerous variants of XboxFusion.com (XboxFusion.biz, XboxFusion.de, XboxFusion.co.uk, etc), all of which currently redirect to the official English Xbox website. While the majority of the URLs were actually registered back in February, it was only very recently that their existence was uncovered by the sleuths at Fusible.

Obviously, registering multiple domains for something no one has ever heard of – remarkably close to unveiling a new console – carries heavy implications, but let's not get too crazy here. "Xbox Fusion" is probably just a new flavor of Mountain Dew.

PixL I have to say, that name sounds cheesy. If I owned Xbox/Microsoft, I would call it what fans expect it to be called - The Xbox 720.


Only that's a trash name, Xbox Infinite sounds fine.


Xbox Infinite, where did you get that? I honestly wouldn't mind it being called the Xbox 3..


God No. That's way to simple plus Playstation does that and personally I want them come up with a new name. Or skip a number...No one would see it coming and I think it would be pretty funny. I know it will never happen though.

Everyone is talking about PS4, so they want to steal Sony's spotlight and hype up the next Xbox.

Tbh, I think the PS4 is going to be great. I think the PS4 will be ahead in next-gen gaming if you ask me. PS3 could have been a great success, but Xbox had it beat with the more RAM, so meaning no party chats, or certain multitasking that the 360 could do.

But this year the PS4 and next Xbox will be on par as far as their specs. So it will be more of a preference kinda thing. But again I think the PS4 will lead for market sales like they did with PS1 and PS2.


Are you stupid? Amount of ram didnt do anything, no one who buys the console knows the ram in a ps3 vs xbox. Ples saying ps3 wasn't a great success is stupid. And leading market sales with ps1 and ps2 is silly to bring up since xbox was released more than 5 years after the ps1 and a year after the ps2.

So people didn't buy 360 over PS3 because of one of the XBL features such as party chat? Why couldn't PS3 support party chat?..... Oh yeah because of the little RAM.

Also don't call me stupid. You love taking up for your beloved Xbox don't ya? Ok Xbox got released 1 year after PS2.... But didn't PS3 get released 1 year after the 360?........ But I'm stupid huh lol?

I'm no Sony fanboy btw. I have a Xbox, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Gameboy, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, so I know what I'm talking about.

Bring your facts next time you want to call someone stupid.
