GTA V listed for PC on retail sites

A PC version of Grand Theft Auto V has been spotted in retailer listings in Germany.

The German arm of Amazon and retailer Games Only both have listings for a Games for Windows Live version of Rockstar's much-anticipated sequel (via Gematsu).
The game has only officially been confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3.

No release date is offered, but the listings suggest that Rockstar may stick with its historical trend of releasing a PC version of its GTA games in the several months following a console debut.

GTA IV was released on consoles in April 2008, followed by a PC version in December that same year.

Likewise, GTA III hit PS2 in October 2001, and later arrived on PC in May 2002 - a pattern which remained consistent for the follow-up releases of GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas.

The Games Only listing titles the game as an 'Uncut Edition' which it claimed would include bonus items before details of said items were removed, according to reports. Prior to the alleged edits, the listing apparently detailed items such as an art book, world map, new stunt plane challenges, bonus outfits, exclusive weapons and more.

I think they will probably delay the pc version for a year or so, so people don't get a cracked version strait away.

That's what happens on every pc game. People torrent it and that's it.

Makes sense to be honest, i'm not trying to justify doing it but why buy something that you can get for free?

Slightly, but why pay when you can have it for free?


Support great developers and fund a great game. Also you don't have to play on bum-ass servers.
Who needs a bum-ass server when you have a fully modded single player. Let's just hope it isn't the worst optimized game of our generation just like GTA IV was.

K you know the reason why GTA 5 wasn't going to go on pc is because of **** people like you who torrent every **** game that comes out. You guys give PC gaming a bad name, these devs do hard work to make these games and you people steal it. I could easily report you to the FBI for even saying that, and they could probably get a warrant to check your computer.


your an idiot. FBI doesn't care about people downloading. they care about suppliers. The best/worst thing that could happen is one of those pointless strikes. And saying some is doig something isn't enough to grant a warrant, there has to be some evidence.

Maybe not, a few games already aren't.
