One year later, and 4j Studios, the developers behind the XBLA version of Minecraft, are still as busy as ever. With the latest skin pack "Battle & Beasts" going live today on the Marketplace for 160 MSP, they also debuted some special 'One Year Anniversary' news.

4j Studios noted how gratefull they are for their success over the last year, and explained their plans to give back to the community". For those who don't know, Minecraft has sold over 6 million copies for the Xbox 360 and has over 1 billion hours played. Up for grabs will be a character skins. Lots of character skins. Although no number has been officially announced, it is rumoured to be around 14-18.

As displayed on playxbla, "Tomorrow is a special day and we couldn’t keep things under wraps any longer. If it wasn’t exiting enough that we released Battle & Beast Skin Pack today (160MSP), we also wanted celebrate our 1st Birthday with a gift to you all! We will be releasing a new and FREE skin pack for the game tomorrow and in this blog you’ll see a glimpse of the party loving characters that are in this 1st Birthday Skin Pack. And to get your avatar in the party spirit we are also going to be releasing a Birthday Cape for your avatar (80MSP)"

I think they're just going to fix the textures and all an maybe add a new skin pack :D

Conspiracies Theres nothing about title update 11 also they need to focus on texture packs i really want doku craft.


Ya I miss the cleaner textures, but that's one of the qualities that makes it "Xbox Edition"


Not exactly a good quality though.


They need to copyright the packs before they can be licensed...

Sweet that skin pack looks great! I mainly want that zombie with a cake on his head... it's funny.
