Return of the Phantom is free to claim until November 9, according to the retailer.
Players can claim the game at no cost, and as with everything else on GOG the game will be DRM-free with no requirement to connect online to play.
Return of the Phantom is a horror-based point-and-click adventure originally released in 1993.
Developed by MicroProse and published by Ziggurat Interactive, the game is based on the Phantom of the Opera and serves as a sequel to the novel.
“The legendary Phantom of the Opera has returned,” the game’s description reads. “As Inspector Raoul Montand, you are the only one who can pursue the Red Death into the past and prevent him from terrorising the present.
“This point and click adventure originally released by MicroProse in 1993 features a fully voiced cast of characters with fluid animations, a tense and thrilling story penned by James Bond novelist Raymond Benson, and an atmospheric soundtrack that sets the perfect mood for this new take on a classic story.”
