Sony’s high-end console is slated for release on November 7, 2024 and will be priced at $699.99/£699.99. The PS5 Pro features more powerful tech specs than the standard version of the console, with the PS5 Pro Enhanced label one of the biggest selling points. This allows compatible games to benefit from various performance improvements, including enhanced visual fidelity and enhanced frame rate. Furthermore, the Game Boost feature allows more than 8,500 PS4 backwards compatible to benefit from various improvements.
The hardware manufacturer is also utilising a technology known as PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), which is an AI-powered upscaling technique that leverages machine learning to reconstruct pixels from a lower starting resolution.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in October 2023.
