EA has updated its list of games shutting down in 2025, with seven more titles added to the chopping block. EA keeps a running list of games it plans on shutting down, with a total of nine games already confirmed to be ceasing operations in January 2025.

First, EA confirmed that The Simpsons: Tapped Out would be shutting down on January 24, with the game delisted on October 31. Then, it was confirmed that Rory McIlroy PGA Tour would be shutting down on January 16, rendering its online features completely unavailable. Now Rory McIlroy PGA Tour and The Simpsons: Tapped Out are being joined by seven other titles.

The updated list of EA games shutting down in January 2025 has confirmed that Blood & Glory: Immortals, Contract Killer: Sniper, Deer Hunter Classic Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores, Eternity Warriors 4, Frontline Commando 2, and Frontline Commando: D-Day are all shutting down on the 29th of that month. None of these games have quite the same popularity as The Simpsons: Tapped Out, but their fans will no doubt still be upset to learn that they are all shutting down.

The list of EA games shutting down in 2025 will only grow as time goes on. In the meantime, there are EA games shutting down in 2024 that fans need to be aware of as well. FIFA 22 is shutting down on November 4, while Battlefield 3 is shutting down on November 7. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline are also shutting down on November 7, joined by NBA Live 18.

It's possible even more EA games will be shutting down between now and the end of the year, and so fans should keep their eye out for announcements on that front. In the meantime, anyone that wants to play one of the seven EA mobile games that are shutting down on January 29 should make time to do so before it's too late.
