Xbox Wire will feature blogs from Microsoft executives and "everyday people" on the Xbox team, as well as occasional posts from director of programming Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb.
The launch proceeds the official reveal of Microsoft's next-gen Xbox, which is set to take place in Redmond on Tuesday, May 21.

Xbox Wire editor, Lisa Gurry told readers it's "an exciting year for Xbox."

"We're counting down the days until May 21, when a new generation of entertainment is revealed. Our team has been working incredibly hard and we have so much good news to share with you."

Microsoft's next-gen Xbox plans will be revealed on May 21 at its Redmond campus, where president of Interactive Entertainment, Don Mattrick, will take the stage in front of specialist and national press.

The event is expected to begin at 10am local time (6pm in the UK), and will be streamed on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, Spike TV and TwitchTV.
