Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players have been sharing clips of themselves running around as pianos and furniture, so that can only mean one thing. Prop Hunt has been added to Black Ops 6 with the game's latest update, a fun little mode that sees players disguise themselves as random bits of scenery, while another team has to hunt them down and take them out.

It's supposed to be a silly bit of fun in an otherwise gritty and competitive shooter, but there already seems to be some frustrations that players are venting about on social media (thanks Game Rant). One such player is Reddit user Jaffamuncher, who recently posted on the BlackOps6 subreddit that the mode is "so bad", and lists out their problems with the mode.

To start with, Jaffamuncher is irritated by how little flashes initiated by props actually help you run and hide. They're supposed to give props a chance to find a new position, but Jaffamuncher claims that they do "f*** all" in comparison to other games. Another big criticism that Jaffamuncher, and quite a few other players have, is the ability for players to just spray everything in sight with unlimited ammunition.

It's such an issue at the moment that another Reddit post by a user called PC-Tamer popped up earlier today too, showing off an image of a fan wishing that enemy players in prop hunt would actually take damage when shooting random objects like the original Prop Hunt mode in Garry's Mod.

These issues have started discussions among fans as to how Activision should remedy this problem, with one user called TJ_Dot suggesting that limited ammo could help balance the game, whilst also not punishing players too badly for wanting to test whether an item is actually a player.

One other issue raised by players is that the whistle audio from props doesn't seem to be working as intended. Rather than give players an idea as to where a prop actually is, players are reporting hearing whistles miles away from the prop making the noise, leading some to believe the feature may be bugged. All of these issues combined paint a rather grim picture, and it's pretty clear that fans would like to see some tweaks to Prop Hunt so it can actually be considered a fun little mode again.
