Jake Paul Is Joining Undisputed’s Boxing Roster With 7 New Fighters

The internet-famed boxer who beat Mike Tyson in November is joining the Undisputed Boxing title next week. Developers Steel City Interactive and Deep Silver have disclosed that Jake Paul, 27, is among 7 new fighters featured in the upcoming Problem Child DLC.

The Problem Child Pack is slated for December 12, making it Undisputed’s debut DLC. Other new prized fighters introduced alongside Jake include:

Erik Morales
Juan Manuel Márquez
James 'Buster' Douglas
Otto Wallin and
Zhilei Zhang.

Jake Paul's model character looks good in the recent teaser. Developers affirm that they went out of their way to ensure the results reflected El Gallo de Dorado's style and bold persona. They had to get a full-motion capture of the prized fighter for that lifelike appearance and precision-perfect action.

Jake’s addition brings energy to the title, especially after his recent achievements. His record-breaking boxing event with legendary heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, has particularly earned him a name in boxing entertainment.

“I’ve been breaking barriers and making history in real life, so it’s only fitting that I bring the same energy to Undisputed," said Paul. "This isn’t just about being in a video game; it’s about inspiring a new generation of fans to step into the ring—virtually and in real life."

The Problem Child Pack offers alternate outfits for new fighters plus additional cosmetics for in-game champions like Canelo Álvarez, Deontay Wilder, Roy Jones Jr., Terence Crawford, and Seniesa Estrada. Similarly, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will receive two Ring of Fire outfits to celebrate their upcoming rematch on Dec 21, 2024.

Steel City Interactive says to expect more updates down the line, terming this the first of a deluge of planned content drops spanning from free to paid enhancements. This development offers hope to the millions of players sharing their mixed responses on Steam about the urgent need for crucial fixes.

Undisputed was released in October this year for Xbox, PS5, and Steam, selling over a million copies in the first month. While developers have tried to patch up serious gameplay issues reported since, there remains a lot to be done to enjoy the commendable DLCs starting to drop.
