This makes sense because when on X-Box 360, you can't access Cloud storage offline.

This article is worded kinda sketchy. You can still play games with no internet, and you don't need to use the cloud thing to save your games. That's why they have a thing called a 500gb hard drive.

No, they'd have to be remade to work on the new system aka, a waste of resources.
A recompile is hardly a waste of resources.
The work is already done for them, it would be just a direct port.
Ya MS is done all ready with the "Xbox 1" stupid name and sadly dont follow the path it should of by naming it the "720" and now all they are doing is sales setting it up and such.

I know right? That wastes too much space when you can just run it off of a disk
The PS3 has to install their games right now. And the smallest Xbox One capacity will be 500gb. SO I dint think it will be too big of an issue.

Microsoft will bee supporting the 360 for a long time, they announced that. Both the PS4 and Xbox One will be extremely similar, thus the case with the backwards compatibility stuff.
