Developer Creative Assembly has been regularly releasing additional content for the Total War: Warhammer series' third entry ever since the critically acclaimed grand strategy game launched in 2022. The studio quickly bolstered the rosters of the Dwarfs, Empire, and followers of Nurgle via April's Thrones of Decay Lord Pack. More factions have received similar changes in Creative Assembly's latest DLC, which has just dropped.
The Omens of Destruction expansion features three new Total War: Warhammer 3 Legendary Lords, namely the Greenskins war boss Gorbad Ironclaw, Golgfag Maneater of the Ogre Kingdoms, and Khorne champion U'Zhul the Skulltaker. Also included in the DLC are four Legendary Heroes, nine Regiments of Renown, and 15 regular units. Each new Legendary Lord comes with a unique campaign mechanic, such as Gorbad Ironclaw's Da' Plan which incentivizes players to mix and match units in their armies to unlock special bonuses and perks.

Skulltaker (Khorne)
Creative Assembly also released update 6.0 for Total War: Warhammer 3 to coincide with the launch of Omens of Destruction. All players will have access to the new Legendary Lord Arbaal the Undefeated thanks to this patch, which implemented plenty of campaign tweaks for the Greenskins, Khorne's faithful, and Ogre Kingdoms. Update 6.0 fixed many bugs as well, including one connected to the Ice Court mechanic of Kislev, widely considered to be among Total War: Warhammer 3's hardest factions, that caused crashes. Other changes brought by the latest patch include the addition of a province called the Cathayan Hinterlands and the introduction of the Daemonic Reforging mechanic to help sustain aggressive Chaos factions.
Total War: Warhammer 3's Omens of Destruction expansion can be purchased for $22.92, but players can opt to buy the individual Greenskins, Khorne, and Ogre Kingdoms packs for $8.99 each. This system was implemented following complaints from the community regarding last year's Shadow of Change DLC and the handling of Total War: Pharaoh, which ultimately resulted in Creative Assembly issuing a public apology.
