Baldur's Gate 3 Staff Reveal Game's Strangest Mods

A video on the official Baldur’s Gate 3 has revealed the five silliest mods available in the game, for both the PC fans and the console audience.

While Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting new classes in 2025, there will be no major content updates for the game beyond that. It’s not the end for the game, however, as official mod support has opened the doorway to all kinds of wacky fan-made content further down the line.

The Larian: Channel from Hell has uploaded a new video outlining some of the silly mods that have been made so far. These are good for a laugh, with one completely changing the game.

The video features a mod that adds of pet versions of a Beholder, Displacer Beast, Gremishka, and a Mind Flayer to the game, which can be summoned in a similar manner to Scratch. Additionally, there’s also a mod that summons Boo the Rabbit made famous by YouTuber Luality, as well as one that lets player use an Owlbear Cub as a summonable Familiar.

Those who want to show their true feelings towards the great and powerful Withers can rename him to Bone Daddy with another mod. Honestly? Other mods have done way worse things to him, especially his chest.

The biggest mod is a take on an official Baldur’s Gate 3 animated video, which shows the city overrun with bunnies. The Bunnies Gate 3 mod fills the titular city with giant rabbits. Anyone attempting to fight one is going to be on the wrong side of a killer nibble attack.

Considering most Baldur’s Gate 3 mods involve changing the aesthetics of the characters or adding D&D content, these silly mods make for a great change of pace. Baldur’s Gate 3 can be a very dark and grim game at times, so an injection of humor and giant bunnies is much appreciated.
