Because the Xbox One reveal showed that it was nothing more than a glorified TV box that just so happens to play video games. People who enjoy video games want to play video games and considering that that's the Wii U's focus, everyone that isn't some edgy "I ONLY PLAY MATURE GAMES FOR MATURE GAMURRRS LIKE MYSELF" 14 year old jumped ship to it.

Besides, it isn't even that bad anymore. It's actually starting to build up a good game library.

Because real gamers don't give a crap about watching tv or swipping your hand to change screens, or how fast you can switch from this to that. All they care about is playing games. With the Xbox now turning into a glorified TV cable box it's obvious that improving the gamers game play experience other then improving the games eye candy is not on their agenda.

So why not buy a PS4? There are no "real gamers" on Wii U.

Microsoft make their decisions based on the trends we follow, we wanted the best tv, the best games, the apps, the fully connected always ready deal. So that's what they gave us.

Oh and for the final time, E3 is the time for games not a console reveal.

Also, they lowered the price for a Wii U that's why it sold a few more.

I can see this. The reveal, revealed some not so great features, that would make me want to experience another console system.
