Microsoft offers details on its own E3 2013-Xbox One media coverage

Microsoft has promised that its Xbox One reveals at E3 2013 later this month will be all about the games, in contrast to the TV set top features that dominated the console's first official reveal in May. Today, Microsoft's director of Xbox Live programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb revealed more details on how Microsoft will cover their E3 2013 announcements for those folks that can't make it to Los Angeles.

The Major Nelson website states the festivities will begin on Monday, June 10th at the Galen Center in LA, where Microsoft will hold a 90 minute press event on the Xbox One, where a lot of major new games will likely be revealed. Microsoft will offer a live stream of the event on Xbox.com and via the Xbox 360 console starting at 9:30 am Pacific Time (that's 12:30 pm Eastern time). The press conference will also be shown in the US and Canada on the Spike cable TV network, with no commercials. Microsoft will offer the full E3 2013 press event on demand later that day.

In addition to its streaming video of the Xbox One-E3 2013 press event, Hryb announced that he will be hosting a one hour live streaming show each day of E3, from June 11-13th, again via Xbox.com and through the Xbox 360 console. He states, "During each hour we’ll take a closer look at some of the announcements, interviews with developers, gameplay and more."

VibeEditz You guys are freaking out that they didn't show alot of the GAMING aspects, and it's true, they really didn't, but that's all for E3, not their reveal, everyone knows it will play a freaking video game okay.

They were talking about it's NEW features not the ones everyone already knows about, so if you guys already know it's going to play a video game, and you will have a good time while doing it, then why are you complaining that they didn't show it, you already know what it will do.


Bravo to this man, he actually gets it. There is only so much gaming can actually change.

i agree there bro.


People are thinking about the cost, you don't want to pay for the TV subscription if you are never going to use it and I don't imagine I will either, most TV's nowadays have built in Freeview so there isn't much need to start talking to your Xbox to change the channel!

cleary you're not very good at typing, maybe learn how to that before commenting. Your comment is an absolute joke, dvd player, bluray drive noicee one, secondly it would use your cable to watch through the console simply to save time changing and would allow for the multiple switches instantly.
