Microsoft has released a pre-E3 trailer for its Xbox Media Briefing, which is planned for Monday, June 10 at 10am PT (6pm BST) at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Microsoft says it will showcase its "full line-up" of next-generation games at the press conference, and the teaser video shows art for Dark Souls 2, Battlefield 4, Forza 5 and more.

At its Xbox reveal event last month the platform holder confirmed that it plans to release 15 exclusive games in the first year of Xbox One, eight of which will be brand new franchises.

Several third-party publishers will release cross-generation titles for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, including Activision's Call of Duty: Ghosts and EA's Battlefield 4.

Among other Xbox One games, a new Rare title and Crytek's Ryse are due to be shown at E3.
