Man serving home detention opts for prison over Xbox

If crime were punishable with 11 months of solid video game downtime, this world would be chaos.

One New Zealand offender begs to differ, though: according to a report in the New Zealand Herald, a 19-year-old has opted to go to prison rather than spend the last month of his home detention term playing Xbox.
According to the report, the offender was "sick of playing Xbox" and "had run out of Xbox games to play." To combat the horror of replaying video games, he'll spend the final month of his detention term behind bars.

He even admitted that if police didn't jail him, he was at risk of breaching his home detention terms.

Well at least he's honest. I know I wouldn't want to play the same games over and over. I hardly like to play video games now.

This man is my neighbour. he lives in the north island of new zealand in a city called whangarei. He yelled at his mother because he doesnt wanna play xbox anymore and i'm sitting in my room like... dude. I ply it everyday and it never gets gay

PurgeModding Well Xbox is crap. I have played Xbox for four years and can`t stand their support or enforcement team. Plus all the good games get hacked and nobody does anything. I switched to PC and everyone who has hacked gets banned from the servers or games I play.


On games i play on xbox, no one hacks the game.


What games do you play? I guarantee people mod on it.

There are a lot more hacked games on PC, because it much easier to mod PC..
