E3 2013: Ryse is now Ryse: Son of Rome, coming to Xbox One at launch

"But the Gods know what once was can be again," an English narrator says of Ryse: Son of Rome, the upcoming Xbox One game from Crytek. The game stars Roman general Marius Titus.

The reveal then cut to a beach invasion, showing a squadron of Roman soldiers assaulting an entrenched enemy force. Eventually, a Roman soldier squares off against a Barbarian in one-on-one combat, revealing contextual kills and a parry system.

Ryse: Son of Rome will be available exclusively at Xbox One's launch.

I think you're too quick to judge. It looks pretty sick right now, but I still need to see more. If it's just for Xbox One I probably won't get it though...

What do you like about the game? It really looks too slow paced to me...

slapshot101 I think this game will be quite epic, it will be a great change from first person shooters, and the new graphics will be amazing.
