Today during the EA press conference, DICE confirmed that Commander mode from Battlefield 2 would be returning with Battlefield 4. The multiplayer position allows a single player on each team to assist their team by issuing instructions to move to capture points through a top-down interface. The player can see where their team is, including vehicles and other assets.
Most importantly, the feature will extend beyond PC and consoles into tablets. Players with DICE's Battlelog service installed on their mobile device will be able to interact with online players in realtime.
Can't wait for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played BF3 a lot, and still am playing it, never got into BFBC or BFBC 2 though, so not sure how this game mode will be.
It looked good but it also looked terribly similiar to BF3 in terms of graphics. Hopefully we will see an improvement in detail come closer to release.
I'm really hoping this is a COD killer. I can't wait for Battlefield 4. I like that they added this back in, it was useful in Battlefield 2 and I'm sure they're adding a lot of new stuff to it.
