E3 2013: Pre-order the Xbox One, get an achievement

Earlier today, Microsoft announced that Xbox One. The price was set at $500, and many are worried and do not believe it is worth it. With this in mind, Microsoft have decided to throw in some extra rewards for people who preorder the new Xbox. Once you preorder the console, you automatically get a day one achievement when arriving on your Xbox. This is no word on how much gamerscore the achievement will be worth.

The other thing they are offering when you preorder is a limited edition Xbox One controller. We do not know what the controller looks like yet, but we will hear more news about it in a few weeks or so. The package also contains "Extra Care," basically extra packaging so your console is guaranteed to be in top condition.

Will these extra gems have an impact on preorder sales? We will found out soon.

1. Once per 24 hours? Come on, unless you live in rural areas surely this won't be a problem.
2. You can buy used games.
3. You can share your games but you can only use it in one location at a time.
4. We pay for extreme exclusives and that along wins the Xbox One.
5. Like I have said before, $500 is nothing.
6. Fair enough but as they said, you can switch it off.

1-Internet can go out, even if you live in suburban areas the internet can go out and if it does you can entertain yourself on the Xbox.
2-You can't.
3-You can only share you games to one person MAXIMUM.
4-Extreme exclusives like what Halo and Forza? Extreme right?
5- Okay, 500 dollars may not be nothing but the PS4 is 400 so why not save 100 dollars?
6-Yea, I guess you can "switch it off", you win that one.

Overall the PS4 sounds better.

Not trying to argue, we got fifa and battlefield also. Most of the exclusives were just cheap indie games and mock shooters. Ps4 does have content exclusives for AC4, Destiny and watch dogs. It also gets to be in beta for ESO first. The only main exclusives will be Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, which will probably be best selling.

c2g_Krypticzz Everyone is just hoping on the PS4 Bandwagon tonight. so what they have some stuff the Xbox One doesnt. The Xbox One will have stuff the PS4 wont either. If you owned a Xbox and Xbox360/Slim i highly doubt you will change to Sony that fast. This goes for Sony fans going to Microsoft. Another thing is that some of this stuff may change within the next 3 or 4 months


Bandwagon? Really? If the Xbox One is going to be $500 and the PS4 is $400 I think most people have a reason to go to PS4. Face it, the Xbox One is just an overpriced console with a little more features. All-in-one? Yeah it's called Direct TV and a PS3. Blu-Ray, Netflix and television, wonderful. Welcome to 2010. Many more reasons to switch to PS4. I don't really think this is a 'bandwagon' situation.
You fanboys don't seem to understand do you? We have more features than you but your all just that butt hurt that you start complaining. Also, don't see Sony pulling out any exclusives for you, do you? :)
