A smiling Jack Tretton revealed that the PlayStation 4 will have no restrictions on used games and will not require an always-on internet connection for single-player games.
"Yes, that's a good thing," he said to a cheering crowd.
Sony also announced that trading, lending and selling of games will be permitted, and purchasing a game means that it is owned by the consumer forever.

Why should I spend additional 100$ for the Xbox One? So I can enjoy used-games restrictions and stupid always on functions? I'd rather buy a PS4 because they trust the consumers and because they think the fans are more important than other companies intrests (EA you greedy f***ers!).
I love the video on how to share games on PS4, it makes total fun and mocks everything about the new Xbox, wonderful work by Sony and they seem to be stealing some of the market with delivering what fans want in the past few months and months to come, I can see them overtaking Microsoft in a few years.
Xbox one 'checks in' once a day for a reason, it has a whole level of immersion that can only be achieved by a regular connection. PS4 simply doesn't have enough party tricks to need it.

Really? How? Xbox One has its bs same with PS4... we both kicked eachother in the ass tons of times... now you guys will be paying also, so that can't be an argument.
