This has always been something Sony had over Microsoft, and now that this is gone, the Sony fanboys will need to find a new thing to celebrate. The always-online and DRM issues won't last for that long, Microsoft will probably prepare an announcement to change things.

Here's the thing. Most of us already pay for PSN+ anyways. And we get way more stuff for paying than gold members on Xbox. Plus it's $50 a year compared to Xbox with 1 year costing $60.

I have never paid 60 dollars for Live... There are sales in the summer that reduce it to 30. Plus I think it's like 45 dollars now at gamestop. You can order one on Amazon for 46 dollars. Get your facts straight. Anyway you get more things? Like an online system that barely lets you connect to friends and can't talk with them playing a different game. Yes I have PS3 and I have to say it has a terrible online system. Stopped paying for it a long time ago. So yay you get old free games that I already bought when they came out usually. Definitely taking the better online experience over that.

I used to be play station for many years and words cannot describe how mess is Sony. I wish I could keep buy play station. Their Oline is messed up, hacked and stole credit more than twice, it's slow and I don't like the design. I have to move to Xbox one. I will never go back to play station, the Japanese company thing...

Then you must of get a defective PS3, because I have never experienced any of the problems you have stated.

You never had any problem when PSN went down for over a month? That's weird, didnt know the service stayed up for some people, you must be special.
