Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare coming in spring, planned for PC

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is being planned for PC, producer Brian Lindley told Joystiq at E3. The third-person action game was announced for Xbox One and Xbox 360 at EA's E3 press conference yesterday. Lindley said the game will launch in spring 2014, and that "at the moment we're not announcing any platforms." You know, outside of PC.

Garden Warfare was announced with a demo of its four-player cooperative multiplayer action. Lindley confirmed that the game will include competitive multiplayer modes in which players can control zombie characters instead of plants.

I loved the original Plants vs Zombies on my iPod, the game was truly addicting and fun.

ABR I got the first one from the steam summer sale for $0.50, hopefully this one goes on sale eventually too.

It will be awhile before this goes on sale once it does come out, I mean PvZ has been out for quite a few years now. $0.50 was a great deal though.

I love Plants vs Zombies, I'm so glad to hear they are making a new one!


I'm not surprised they are. I think this is probably around as popular as Angry Birds and I think Angry Birds made a bunch of different Angry Birds games. So it would make sense for Plants vs Zombies to do the same thing.


But this is more innovation, all the angry birds are just re-skinned with a couple new features. This is taking a 2D game and putting it in 3D and make the gameplay completely different with a different genre added to it :)


From the trailer alone it kinda looks like it will play out like Happy Wars. I liked that game a lot so I want to see how this game would play out and everything new that's added.
