UPDATE: If you're banned on Xbox One, you will Lose all your Game Titles

Original story: A recent tweet by the Xbox support team has stated that if you get banned on Xbox One, you lose all your games. This is another reason why you should stay clean and follow the terms of use on Xbox One. The Xbox support staff has been answering many questions on twitter about the console and features the system beholds.


UPDATE: Thanks Matt.

The Xbox Support Twitter now claims they were talking about the Xbox 360 and not the Xbox One, They are unable to comment on Xbox One ban policy at this time.

If you get banned enough you can get console banned and need to buy a new console to play online, not games.

I doubt it, that's sort of the way it works on certain 360 games. Such as Gears of War 3, I got banned and lost about 4000 points worth of GoW3 DLC, also I could not use my account ever again because they black listed my account. I use it now because GoW3 turned out to be utter garbage in my opinion for all of the hassle it caused for me. Worst game and company ever!

Interview my Major Nelson says otherwise. He says "You will NOT lose access to game if youre banned"

I can understand them banning your account, but if they basically rip you off of hundreds of dollars worth of games in the process, that's a problem. I'm sure they will make it so you can access your games if your account gets banned.

kitkat22 that sux. if you get banned even once, you lose all your games. i do not think they should do this. for example, say if you bought alot of games for xbox one with your hard earned cash, and you recently get banned and all your games are gone(since its not on disc). that would be a complete rip off.

You are on modding website. And people get banned for all kinds of bullshit reasons, it has happened to me for banning somebody from my BF3 server.

Xbox One is screwed now because you get banned for 3 days and loose all that everyone will go to the PS4 now because it will be cheaper an you wont have to deal with loosing your stuff that you spend like hundreds of dollars for so Microsoft just screwed up big time and PS4 might out sell even knowing that im xbox gamer
