HD_Res They say the kinect has to always be connected.... well, what if it breaks by chance? Do you have to wait a month for it to get there and be repaired and another couple of weeks for it to get back just to play?

Hopefully they will have a warranty that will allow you to take it to GameStop or something and give it to them and then they give you a new Kinect. Because I can see what you mean with it breaking and having to wait.

Why though? Why are people actually buying the Xbox One? It's as if you don't even own the console, Microsoft does. You're only renting it. You're paying an extra $100 for restrictions and being spied on! When you buy a game you get bored of, you can't trade it in so you waste money. Are people too blind to realize how much of a mistake they're making?

Anyway, a lot of the features that come witht he Xbox 1 are driving away the consumer, as they are having their CHOICE taken away from them.
I wouldn't normally get Kinect but it comes anyway, oh well. I would also leave it plugged in anyway as I dont really care; HOWEVER, MS have taken away my CHOICE to have the Kinect in, as now I have no choice but to leave it in, otherwise my Xbox doesn't work.

These choices that MS are making with Xbox 1 involve some mind numbingly stupid decisions, I mean I would have loved to sit it on the meeting where MS employees thought that these would be good ideas to be embraced by the consumer.

And to keep it relevant to the article at hand, the high price is ridiculous, as the consumer pays more for the Xbox 1 than the PS4 AND the Xbox 1 has no backwards compatibility, so the game collection has to be started from scratch, meaning you are spending MUCH more than you would with the PS4, and the high price you are paying is for the less superior console.

I agree that MS is taking away a little freedom for the customer, and I will probably stick with the 360 and ps3, but you have to realize that no matter what, people will still buy the Xbox One. Let them have their own choice. No need to ridicule someone just for getting a system that you are not too fond of.

You are all IDIOTS. First off lets get this straight, i am NOT getting an xbox one, but i do know a lot about it. First you Can trade used games in and buy used games. Second you Can trade games to friends, but once you trade it, it is locked between those two players forever ( Cool part is, is that you can just let them dl it if they have been on your friends list for 30 days). Third you CANT turn the kinect off it is a part of the xbox, and is NEVER off... Also, ms also added a new term to there terms and agreements... Wanna know how **** stupid it is? You cant, under any circumstances sue ms if you buy a xbox one. Cause to you the XBone you have to except the terms and agreements... So have fun with you Iluminati One ;/

Yep, that is exactly what you have to do. If anything happens to the camera, or it cant see you why your playing, it will shut off...
