Xbox One controller charge kit and headset details

With the new console arriving in November, Microsoft have released details on the Play and charge kit, and also the new Microphone that has been established.

The Play and Charge kit includes a rechargeable battery pack, and a USB adapter that plugs into the Xbox One. This lets you charge the controller while playing your game, or when the console is in sleep/standby mode.

The Microphone contains pitch perfect wideband audio, and lets you mute or adjust the volume without having to take your hands off of your controller. There has been no confirmation about the microphone being included with the console yet. It was included with the 1st generation Xbox 360 back when it was released.

Epicsniper72 I already use a charge kit for the 360 and have saved so much money I pretty glad there making a charge and play kit for the Xbox 1


I only used batteries once and that was when they came with the controller, after they died I bought the charge kit and went from there.

Look at the Sony fanboy in his natural habitat. Who know's nothing about any other consoles. Ok seriously you have never seen a controller charger kit for other consoles... I'm pretty sure even the Wii has them. Or did you just want to post that to hate on MS?


yea but with ps you didn't have to pay 20$ to charge you controller it came with a usb cord and you can already adjust your microphone without taking your hands off the controller, ps has better mic features but microsoft does have party chat which is a big deal.


Isn't PS4 adding party chat? I remember seeing some people arguing over that a few days ago.
